Terry Furchgott – Museum Exhibition

Paintings by Terry Furchgott are featured in the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art’s exhibition Face First. The exhibition runs from October 12, 2019 – February 23, 2020. Face First eyes Puget Sound area artists whose work includes portraiture, focused especially on the human face. This major group exhibition includes painting, photography, sculpture, glass, artist’s books, and mixed media. Charles Emerson – Museum Exhibition

Paintings by Charles Emerson are featured in the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art’s exhibition “Departures and Arrivals: Artists in Abstraction.”  The exhibition runs from June 29 – October 6, 2019, exploring the diverse approaches and visual vocabularies of 15 Northwest artists working in abstraction. Lisa Snow Lady – Exhibition

Seattle artist Lisa Snow Lady recently had her mixed media collages accepted into the “Au Naturel” exhibition at Royal Nebeker Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. The show will be on view January 24 through March 14, with an artist reception February 7.

Richard Hutter – Exhibition

Prints by Richard Hutter have been accepted into the juried group show Forms of Enclosure: New Prints 2019/Winter at IPCNY International Print Center, New York City.

The exhibition opens January 17th, 2019 and is on view January 17th through March 23rd, 2019.

Lisa Snow Lady – Exhibition

Works by Lisa Snow Lady are currently on view at the Lynwood Convention Center’s Inventing With Color and Light exhibition.

The collection is displayed July through December, 2018 with an opening reception on Wednesday, September 12th from 6 to 8pm. The exhibit can also be visited during normal business hours 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Richard Hutter – Exhibition

Works by Richard Hutter have been accepted into the 10x10x10xTieton exhibition, making this his sixth year of participation in the show juried by Sean Elwood and Molly Miller.

Elwood — now working for the Creative Capital Foundation in New York — was the former Curator and Collection Manager at the Seattle Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs. Miller is the current executive director of Gallery One Visual Arts Center in Ellensburg, Washington.

The collection is on view August 11th to October 7th, 2018 with an opening reception on Saturday, August 11th from 12 to 4pm.

Making Our Mark – Museum Exhibition

In celebration of the Pratt Fine Art Center’s longstanding commitment to arts education, the Bellevue Arts Museum’s Making Our Mark: Art by Pratt Teaching Artists will exhibit work by many of Pratt’s finest instructors, including Harris Harvey Gallery’s John Lysak and David W Simpson, as well as the gallery’s previous assistant (2015-2017) Sofya Belinskaya.

The exhibition will be on view at the Bellevue Art Museum November 10 – April 18.

In The Valley of Mystic Light – Museum Exhibition

Work by Joel BrockJohn ColeEd Kamuda and Thomas Wood will be on view at the Skagit County Historical Museum within the In the Valley of Mystic Light exhibition. The show “explores the unique and diverse history of artists [and writers] who found their inspiration in Skagit Valley and how a small community became a place that fostered art and creativity.”

The collection of work is on view from October 28, 2017 to  February 4, 2018.

Lois Silver – Museum Exhibition

Work by Lois Silver will be a featured at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art as part of a month-long jazz-inspired art exhibition in conjunction with the Within/Earshot Jazz Festival, on view through October 28, 2017.

Peter de Lory – Museum Exhibition

Artwork by Peter De Lory will be exhibited at the San Juan Islands Museum of Art in Friday Harbor alongside printmaker and sculptor Jean Behnke and sculptor Michael Peterson as part of Dialogues of the Forest: From Rocky Outcroppings series. The exhibition examines the artists’ own relationship to the natural enviornment of the Pacific Northwest. The exhibition will be on view at the San Juan Islands Museum of Art in Friday Harbor, Washington from September 16 through November 6, 2017.
