Ann Morris
Bronze and found object sculptor Ann Morris creates sculptures that speak to the cycle of life and spirituality of nature. Morris’s lost-wax bronze series “Bone Journey” plays off skeletal remains and vessel shapes. Her “Crossings” series consists of ethereal vessels constructed from organic materials such as seaweed, twigs, leaves, animal sinew and grasses, whose exposed framework echoes that of old boats.
