Richard Hutter - Bokblomma

“Bokblomma,” is a series of recent mixed media works by Seattle-based artist Richard Hutter. Hutter creates abstract works with a bold graphic sensibility. In this series, Hutter incorporated found floral images from an antique Swedish textbook, technical diagrams, and seated each one in its own polka-dotted color-world. “Bokblomma” is a made-up portmanteau from the Swedish words: bok, meaning book and blomma meaning flower.
